Congratulations to College of DuPage Photo Alum Robin Tryloff, whose timeless portrait of her Father, Warren, was chosen for the Advertising Photographers of America Midwest’s exhibit, “Artist’s Perspective” in December. Robin’s image was one of 26 that were selected for the show.
The gallery show was juried by Susan Aurinko of the Chicago Artists Coalition, Teresa Rad of TBWA/Chiat Day, and Kristen Walsh of Arnold Worldwide. It was held at the Chicago Art Department Gallery.
Robin Tryloff is an editorial photographer with a strong interest in social documentary work. Her service in the nonprofit field, prior to her photography career, has led to projects for a number of nonprofit organizations. Tryloff always has had a passion for social causes, and this interest is reflected in her two current projects: Public Spaces, and the West Chicago Documentary Project.
