COD Photography student Denis Hagen has work included in the exhibition “Urban View – Rural Sight,” a show at the Minneapolis Photo Center. Hagen’s “Clouds and Cookie Cutter Houses” was among photographs by more than 50 artists highlighting vistas in the United States and elsewhere. The images in the show were selected by guest curator David Travis, formerly curator of the photography collection at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Speaking about his selected photograph, Hagen says “It’s a “grab shot” taken when I was walking from the McDonalds across the street to the grocery store. I shoot a lot of stuff that way– “found” images.”
Denis Hagen’s photography is represented by the PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont.
