COD Photo Program alum Amanda Crane is a photojournalist working in Savannah, GA. After finishing the program at COD, Amanda transferred to Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), where she graduated Magna Cum Laude (B.F.A. in Photography) in 2008.
After an internship and then graduation from SCAD in the summer of 2007, she fell in love with video and news photography. She realized how interesting it is being a photojournalist because she gets to meet new people, have new stories everyday, and can make a difference in the lives of others.
Amanda has shot video from planes, including a B-17 and T-6 Texan from WWII, a U.S. Army Cobra helicopter and a C-130, boats, Bradley tanks, and even more pedestrian vehicles like golf carts.
